Natural Survivors
Yellow daisies are tough. They can weather the seasonal changes well, and the beautiful yellow hues are wonderful to look at. The daisies in the photograph are located in a very busy location, in between a railroad track and a road. Cars race up and down the road, all day and night, and most drivers don't even notice the flowers.
The train shakes the ground as it arrives to load its passengers. People climb aboard and glance out the windows, while the daisies wave back, telling their story of determination. The train leaves and the daisies just sway in the wind. The busyness of the world around them makes no difference to their natural cycle.
It is always nice to see nature reminding us of where we belong, in this world. Beauty can be seen in the forest everywhere. I smile when I think about how we purchase plants, trees, and other items to make our homes look more natural. I suppose there is something healing about that. Anytime that I have been in the woods, a sense of calm and peace comes over me. That type of peace is something that I would love to bottle up and give to everyone, free of charge. But since I cannot figure out how to do that, I will offer the next best thing. Mobility Mountain will offer peace and calm to those who seek it. That is our promise.

That Cozy Space
By Jeffrey Pryor
November is upon us. The leaves are falling and piling up, the air is crisp and clean, animals have packed on the weight and are preparing their homes for Winter. The cycle of the seasons can be spectacular to witness, especially if we get to experience nature doing its thing. I have been fortunate to see animals in their element for a while now. Sometimes I forget that not everyone gets to share those moments with me.
As the cold sets in and the geese head South, I have grown accustomed to hearing the wedge of geese honking cadence as they flutter by. The squirrels, or as I call them, ground pounders, scurry about with mouths full of acorns, packing away the Winter's nourishment. I wonder what they eat for Thanksgiving? Deer prance around with no sense of direction, yet they maintain the pack for security. Only darting across roads in some sort of game, called smash the shiny car.
We humans tend to do the same. We pack on a little extra tonnage, turn up the heat, and snuggle closer for warmth. The seasons are a unique thing and have been working hard to keep us guessing for millennia. Like clock work, they come and go, ushering change with them. The season may bring change for Mobility Mountain, shifting our focus more on land acquisition and construction. This would be a wonderful cycle to go through, and we look forward to having you along with us. November brings a couple of holiday that touch our souls, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving. Not to mention these, National Lemon Cream Pie Day, French Cake Day, Cake Day, Gingerbread Cookie Day, Stuffing Day, Apple Cider Day and Cranberry Relish Day. See why we pack it on this month?
Thank you for reading along and have a wonderful holiday month, or as some call it, the Silly Season.
