Artistic Talent
Artist Laura Resurreccion has a long list of commercial work for the American Heart Association, Conde Nast Traveller Magazine, Coram Watches, and more. She won the Best Of Long Island Bronze 2005 for her DMV Campaign focused on Drowsy Driving. She also has won prestigious childhood awards such as the Gold and Bronze International Children's Art Exhibition, Japan 1992.
Laura's Story
In recent years, Laura has shown work at the Cinema Arts Center in Huntington NY as well as Art on The Terrace Gallery, located on Staten Island, NY.
As a biracial LGBTQ+ person, Laura has been met with many challenges. This has an opposite reflection in the work that desperately wants to achieve harmony.
The Artist is originally from Huntington, Long Island. Currently, Laura resides in the Finger Lakes area of New York where she continues her design and writing practice. LR Graphics is a full-service design firm located in Corning NY operated by Laura Resurreccion as a sole proprietorship. Laura’s client base is international, from hotel travel supply package design to large-scale signage for a gym chain.
Laura studied at Wilson Tech in Dix Hills from 1999 to 2001 and received her New York State Certification to practice Advertising Art. She printed at Mutual Engraving for a year before pursuing her Bachelor of Technology in Visual Communications at Farmingdale State University, the State University of New York.
